From Around the World to Boston
Published on May 9th, 2026
The response from the Fab Lab network has been nothing short of inspiring.
Over the past weeks, we received more than 100 applications for the FAB26 Community Access Pass, each one sharing powerful stories of impact, resilience, and commitment to making digital fabrication accessible in communities around the world. From grassroots initiatives to large-scale programs, the submissions reminded us why this global network continues to grow stronger every year.
A Commitment to the Community
At the Fab Foundation, we believe that access matters.
This year, we have committed approximately $15,000 USD to support participation from across the network ensuring that more voices, perspectives, and experiences are present at FAB26 Boston. Through this initiative, we are supporting selected participants with access to the conference, helping make this global gathering more inclusive and representative of the communities it serves.
While we wish we could support everyone who applied, we are deeply grateful to each of you who took the time to share your story with us. Your work continues to shape the future of Fab Labs in meaningful ways.
