Dorms in Cambridge

Important information before booking:

• In order to book the MIT Dorms, you must provide your ticket
• Thursday, July 23 - Saturday, August 1, 2026
  • Single Room - $1035.00 per person
  • Double Room - $810.00 per person, $1620.00 per room
• Sunday, July 26 - Saturday, August 1, 2026
  • Single Room - $690.00 per person
  • Double Room - $540 per person, $1080.00 per room
• Check-in: 3:00pm - 11:00pm
• Notify MIT if you plan to arrive more than 24 hours after your check-in date
• Check-out: 11:00am Saturday, August 1, 2026
• Room substitutions - email MIT at least 5 business days before your arrival date, at no cost.

Terms & Conditions

• I attest that I, and any individual I may be booking on behalf of, am/is over the age of 18.
• I agree that while my specific check-in and check-out dates may differ from those of the room block, I am responsible for the cost of the full room block regardless of the length of my stay.
• I agree to follow all applicable state, federal and local laws, regulations, etc. as well as with MIT’s general conduct policies and MIT Summer Program & Conference Housing Policies, as well as any MIT housing and facility policies that are posted, distributed, or otherwise communicated during my stay:

• I agree not to conduct any laboratory or makerspace related activities, including, without limitation, use of any biological materials, chemicals, soldering or welding tools in the MIT dormitory.
• I agree that, should I be found liable for defacing, altering, or modifying the property, fixtures, or real estate of MIT, I will be responsible for reimbursing the Fab Foundation for the cost of the repair or replacement of damaged or lost items.
• I acknowledge that MIT Housing has the right to remove me in the event that I violate any applicable laws and/or MIT policies.
• I agree that MIT Housing and Residential Services reserves the right (at any time) to:
  • Relocate me in the event that a room is unavailable for a period of time, to accommodations selected by HRS, and I may not be reimbursed for relocation;
  • Change a room assignment;
  • Have its designees enter and inspect my room, apartment, suite, whether or not I am present and without prior notice for the following reasons;
    • Routine maintenance, inspections, repairs, or housekeeping duties;
    • If there are reasonable grounds to believe that any substance, material, or item is being kept or used in the premises in any manner prohibited by all state, federal, and local laws, regulations, or by any MIT policies;
    • To investigate suspected policy violations;
    • Health or safety reasons, including to control the rooms in the event of an epidemic;
    • Any reason deemed necessary by HRS.
• I agree to check out of my room by 11:00AM EST on Saturday, August 1, 2026; to clean my room and return it to the condition it was delivered on the day I moved in; and return all keys to the front desk. If I do not do so, I agree to reimburse the Fab Foundation for any charges related to late check-out, any/all room damages, additional cleaning charges (required for rooms left in an unsatisfactory condition) and a $150 lock replacement fee for any/all lost/replacement keys.
